Classic Hose Reel - Birds, Frogs & Other Creatures Inside

Unfortunately, occasionally we find that small animals like birds, bird nests or frogs find themselves within the hose reel casing.

If this occurs, under no circumstances open up the casing by removing the screws. Doing this, will release the spring in the unit and you will find the hose will no longer retract (voiding the warranty).

Instead, we would suggest fully extending the hose, turning the unit upside down and very gently shaking the unit until it dislodges, or using a long implement to tease out. Alternatively remove the hose reel from its brackets and lay on the ground to allow the creature to find its own way out.

Do not use water to hose out the reel as this may damage some of the internal components.
