Symptom
The Evolve hose will not stop at the desired spot and continuously retracts back into the Evolve Hose Reel casing, instead of staying in place.
Cause
This would suggest a failure with the internal locking mechanism.
Resolution
If the Evolve Hose will not lock off and wants to retract back into the casing each time the hose is extended, this cannot be repaired.
If the Evolve Hose Reel is within the 5 years warranty, it is eligible for replacement.
