You can connect just about anything to our no-burst, no-leak fittings.
Any watering accessory or device with a screw thread can be attached for a watertight connection. When accessories have a click-on fitting that cannot be removed, simply connect to it using our Click-on Adapter Set. The diameter of your hose (e.g., 12 mm) does not affect the functionality of the Click-on Adapter Set. It will connect properly regardless of the hose size.
A watering accessory can include sprayers, sprinklers, wands or any other watering implement.

Taps
Learn how to connect to various size taps, tap connections & recycled water taps.
Common Tap Sizes
There are two common tap sizes found in Australia: 1” and ¾” BSP thread size.
The Hoselink Universal Tap Connector will fit either size via the included size reducer.
The size reducer should be used with the 3/4" tap size or removed for the 1".
Recycled Water Taps
Recycled water taps are designed with a reverse thread. By first attaching Hoselink’s Recycled Water Tap Adapter, standard hose connectors can then be attached to the recycled water tap
Hoses
Hoselink’s Hose End Connectors are suitable for fitting on to most hoses and come in three sizes:
<bResidential:
12mm Connector: Commonly used for standard Hoselink hoses. Most household garden hoses are 12mm in internal diameter. These can be purchased HERE.
14mm Connector: Required for specific products like the 25m Hi Flow Hoselink hose reel (now discontinued). These can also be purchased HERE.>
7mm Compact Portable Hose Reel: This reel uses a smaller 7mm diameter hose with pre-fitted connectors. Ensure you use the included connectors for compatibility.
Commercial: to suit an 18mm hose. 18mm diameter hoses are typically used in rural and commercial applications and provide a higher water flow rate than standard 12mm hoses and fittings. These can be purchased HERE
Note: External diameters will vary depending on the type of hose you’re using, as well as the quality
Sprinklers & Sprayers
How to Connect
There are 2 ways to connect a sprinkler or sprayer:
Use can use a Hoselink Accessory Connector with most watering accessories. Unscrew & set aside the attachment fitting on your watering accessory. Replace with the Hoselink Accessory Connector & attach to your hose.
If you find that your product has a moulded or glued in fitting, you will need a Click-on Adapter Set to adapt.
Pressure Washers
How to Connect
Hoselink fittings are compatible with Gerni, Karcher and other brands of pressure cleaners to ensure a secure and stable connection between the hose and machine.
All pressure cleaners are different, so at the water inlet unscrew the ‘click-on style’ fitting to check whether the machine has a male or female thread. Then:
If you have a male thread, use a universal tap connector, for a watertight fitting. This is typical with the Gerni and Karcher brand of pressure washers.
If you have a female thread, use an Accessory Connector, for a watertight fitting.
Alternatively, you can use a click on adaptor set, although this is not the recommended method for a leak free solution.
For the most secure and leak-free connection, consider removing the click-on fitting from the accessory and attaching a Hoselink threaded connector directly to the device’s threaded inlet.
Fertiliser Bottles
How to Connect
There is only one way to connect ready-made fertiliser bottles such Yates Weed’n’Feed and other liquid hose-on products.
The Click-on Adapter Set will connect your Hoselink hose to the ‘click-on style’ connection on the bottle.
FAQ's
Can I use a single Retractable Hose Reel across multiple locations? Yes, you can. Purchase an additional Wall Bracket and a Universal Tap Connector for the second tap. This setup allows you to easily move the reel between locations without unscrewing the tap connector each time.
How do I know which connector size I need for my Hoselink hose or reel? To determine the correct connector size, consider the type of product (e.g., standard hose vs. Hi Flow hose reel), the purchase age of the reel, and the color coding on existing connectors (12mm = green body + yellow nut; 14mm = green body + green nut).
