Loose or Floppy Trigger Handle
Symptom: The trigger handle on your 7-Function Spray Gun lacks its usual spring-back resistance. It may hang loosely from the body of the gun or feel "limp" when squeezed.
Causes
Causes
Internal Plunger has seized up.
Resolution: Apply Silicone Lubricant
Resolution: Apply Silicone Lubricant
Re-applying a silicone based lubricant periodically is essential in order to keep your trigger operating effectively. Step by step instructions can be found below along with a video you can watch.
Instructions:
Using pliers, unscrew the brass cap at the back of the 7-Function Spray Gun.
Remove the spring and put aside in a safe place.
Squeeze the trigger and then using pliers or multigrips, remove the plunger from the back of the 7-Function Spray Gun. If the plunger does not move easily, use a pair of pliers to gently push the rod from behind the trigger toward the rear of the gun.
Once removed, using a tissue or paper towel, clean the plunger and the chamber of the spray gun.
Soak the plunger in white vinegar for 5 minutes to clean any calcium build-up. If the O-rings on the Plunger appear damaged, you can get a replacement Plunger included in our Spray Gun Spare Parts Repair Kit.
Rinse the Plunger with water to ensure all the white vinegar has been removed.
Apply a generous amount of Silicone Lubricant (also included in the Spray Gun Spare Parts Repair Kit) to all areas of the Plunger, including the O-rings.
Re-insert the plunger into the back of the Spray Gun, pushing it firmly into place.
Put the spring back in place and then screw the brass cap in, tightening with pliers.
Notes:
We recommend re-applying Silicone Lubricant every 6-12 months or at first signs of the trigger becoming loose and floppy.
Any brand of Silicone Lubricant can be used. Water based lubricants must be avoided as these will wash off almost immediately.

Resolution 2: Clean behind the Face
Instructions:
Using a Phillips Head Screwdriver, turn the screw anti-clockwise until it is completely removed.
Set the screw aside in a safe place.
Gently pull the circular faceplate away from the main body of the spray gun, being careful not to lose the white function clicker in the process.
Submerge both the faceplate and the spray gun head in a bowl of warm, soapy water.
Use a soft cloth or an old toothbrush to scrub the internal channels and the back of the dial.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water to ensure all sand, mineral deposits, or dirt are removed.
Carefully lift the O-ring out of its groove using a small pin or similar.
Flip the O-ring over so the unused side is now facing outwards. This provides a fresh surface for a better seal.
Apply a small amount of Silicone Lubricant to the O-ring to help it seat correctly and make the dial easier to turn.
Align the faceplate back onto the spray gun head and hold it in place firmly.
Insert the centre screw and turn clockwise until secured.
